Roof Repair Smedway handles Roof Replacement projects across The Dalles from full tear-off through final inspection, with a written scope you approve before anything is torn down.
We also coordinate Roof Replacement timing around The Dalles weather patterns, scheduling tear-off days when the forecast gives us the best chance of staying dry.
We also help The Dalles homeowners plan for material delivery timing so a Roof Replacement doesn't sit half-finished waiting on backordered shingles.
Documentation provided before the first tear-off day, not after you ask.
Local The Dalles crews mean your Roof Replacement start date isn't pushed out for weeks.
Material and labor costs are broken out separately in every Roof Replacement estimate.
We match material choice to The Dalles's climate exposure, not just the lowest bid.
A complete Roof Replacement covers more than swapping shingles — here's what's actually included.
Old roofing is stripped down to the decking, with any rotted or damaged boards replaced before rebuilding.
Ice and water barrier gets installed at eaves and valleys per current code requirements.
Architectural shingles are installed to manufacturer nail patterns and exposure specs, not a rushed approximation.
For The Dalles homeowners considering a longer-lifespan option, we install standing seam and panel metal systems too.
Poor attic ventilation shortens the life of a new roof, so we assess and upgrade it as part of most Roof Replacement jobs.
We protect landscaping and driveways during tear-off and do a full magnetic nail sweep before leaving.
A Roof Replacement project involves more coordination than a repair call, so we keep communication clear at every stage.
A crew lead inspects your The Dalles roof in person and measures the full scope of work.
You get a full written estimate covering materials, labor, and disposal before any tear-off is scheduled.
Once approved, the crew completes the Roof Replacement to manufacturer spec and provides full warranty documentation.
Tear-off crew protected our landscaping better than we expected going in.
